Housing that supports recovery.

We know that no one recovers alone. We recover in community.

Housing is a basic need and a strong predictor of long-term recovery. atTAcK addiction offers Recovery Residences and Housing Scholarships, available through the Delaware Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health (DSAMH), to give those who are entering recovery a place to live that supports them.

The best way out is always through.

atTAcK addiction Recovery Residences

The homes provide a safe, substance-free, structured, and supportive living environment — four residences for men and one residence for women. Case management services are provided to residents to assist them with continued treatment and recovery, obtaining employment, and budgeting. Residents make a personal commitment to obtain a sponsor, actively work the 12 steps, and regularly attend AA/NA meetings.

Impact Story

A Lifeline to Hope

Names of clients have been changed to protect their privacy.

Henry’s son, Calvin, struggles with addiction. After spending time at an inpatient facility in the area, Calvin was discharged. Soon after, he overdosed and ended up in a detox facility. Henry called atTAcK addiction, connecting with Sean, our program manager. The two talked about resources and where Calvin could go to find the help he desperately needed. A lot relied on Calvin’s willingness to get better. Sean told Henry about Harbeson, one of atTAcK addiction’s long-term recovery residences, as well as Limen House and other lower-level programs. Sean advised Henry that it would be harder for his son to get into a good program if he left the detox facility without going into a long-term residential program. He gave Henry atTAcK addiction/Impact Life’s admissions number — plus his personal cellphone number in case Calvin left the detox facility and wanted someone to talk to.
